In the fourth quarter of 2020, the io games category continued to entertain mobile users across Latin America on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower's data showcases the performance of the top five io games in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

slither.io, published by Lowtech Studios LLC, showed a significant increase in downloads, jumping from roughly 12K in the week of October 19 to a peak of approximately 26K by the end of December. Weekly active users also rose notably from around 92K in mid-October to nearly 176K in the last week of December. Revenue trends saw a steady climb, peaking at around $163K in the week before Christmas.

Voodoo's Paper.io 2 experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a notable increase to over 20K during the week of December 21. Active users hit a high point in late December, reaching almost 70K. Revenue for the game saw a substantial rise in mid-December, peaking at approximately $183K.

Another game from Voodoo, Hole.io, had relatively stable downloads throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 5K to 7K. Active users saw a slight increase from around 39K at the start of the quarter to over 35K at its close. Revenue trends peaked at $160K in the week of December 7.

Kooapps' Snake.io - Fun Online Snake witnessed a decline in downloads from 17K in early October to around 11K by the end of December. Despite this, the game's active users remained relatively consistent, with a slight increase to about 41K in the final week of December. Revenue showed a minor uptick, ending the quarter at around $209K.

Lastly, Voodoo's Crowd City saw a dip in downloads from 7K in early October to about 5K in mid-December, then rebounded to roughly 7K towards the year's end. Weekly active users gradually decreased from approximately 70K to 54K by late December, before rising again to around 59K. Revenue remained consistent with a slight increase to $114K in the last week of 2020.
